The Gwinnett Braves are seeking experienced cameramen to operate their cameras during their home games. Cameramen should have experience shooting live events (preferably sports and baseball). Cameramen will communicate with the technical director to ensure the best shots for our viewers inside the stadium and at home on CSS. Cameramen are expected to handle cameras with a high degree of care, ensuring their safety and providing longevity to the equipment.
The Audio/Music technician will provide the stadium audience with music and audio during their time at the ballpark. This may include pregame music to energize the crowd, player walkup music, sound effects, as well as controlling audio channels that may come from other sources such as video clips. The technician would also have control over all the microphones in the stadium. The candidate would take cues from the producer and will be asked to play proper music and audio clips at proper times during the game to enhance the "game situations." An ideal candidate would have experience with music and DJing live events.
The camera shader is in charge of maintaining camera consistency during games. The camera shader should have a knowledge of cameras, specifically the iris, white and black balances, and gains. The camera shader will communicate with cameramen and the technical director to ensure the picture is properly adjusted.
Computer Graphics Operator
Computer graphics operator will be in charge of filling in pre-made templates with information and statistics to be used in-game. Operator will use the Ross Xpression software and will control up to four output monitors with information. Operators are asked to be very proactive with information and should not need to be prompted to have information or statistics ready.
The replay operator will be in charge of controlling two channels of replay for the in-house feed. Operator may also be asked from time to time to assist with CSS replay. Operator will use custom built software with standard controls of channels, speeds, marks, cues, and playback. Operator will also oversee the recording of the game broadcast and ensure copies of the game are distributed to proper authorities.
Video Clip Operator
Video clip operators will control the bank of videos during the game and take cues from the producer and technical directors to show proper clips during the game. Operator is asked to have a strong knowledge of baseball, to understand game situations and crowd reactions. Operator should also have a strong knowledge of videos and graphic files.
