Mascot & Player Appearances

Community Appearance Requests

The Tri-City ValleyCats strive to be an active partner in the Capital District and surrounding community.  As part of our dedication to give back to the community, the majority of appearances are free.

SouthPaw and his friends are very active in the community year-round.  During the baseball season (mid-June through Labor Day), the ValleyCats players make community appearances when their schedule permits.

If you are looking for a guest speaker for an upcoming meeting, conference, or event, the ValleyCats front office staff can help!  ValleyCats guest speakers give your group a chance to understand more about the Tri-City ValleyCats and Minor League Baseball as a whole.  You will learn more about the business side of baseball and talk to the people behind the scenes.

If you would like to request an appearance or guest speaker, please complete a Community Appearance Form.  For scheduling purposes, please submit at least three (3) weeks prior to the event.

Please understand that the ValleyCats cannot fulfill every request we receive.  All requests are subject to availability.

Upon receipt of your request, a ValleyCats staff member will be in contact with you.  Thank you for thinking of us!

Please print the Community Appearance Form above, and either fax this form Attn: Michelle Skinner at (518) 629-2299, email to, or mail to:
