Front Office Staff

Jordan Taylor - Vice President of HWS Baseball and General Manager
The 2016 season will mark Jordan's fifteenth with the Scrappers and sixth as General Manager. Jordan held the role of Assistant General Manager during the 2005-2010 seasons. He served as Director of Ticket Sales from 2004-2005. Jordan spent the previous three seasons in Corporate Marketing and Sales. Before joining the Scrappers, Jordan served as Ticketing Manager for C.K. Newcomb and Associates in Cleveland, OH. Jordan also interned with International Management Group (IMG) and has worked for the Cleveland Indians. A native of Westlake, OH, Jordan graduated from the University of Mount Union in May of 2000 with a degree in Sport Business and Business Management. Heather Sahli - Assistant General Manager, Marketing
The 2016 season will be Heather's twelfth with the Scrappers and fourth season as Assistant General Manager, Marketing. She previously worked in roles for the Scrappers as the Director of Marketing & Promotions, Box Office Manager, Director of Client Services and Account Executive. Heather also spent time with the Youngstown SteelHounds of the CHL. Heather graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing and minor in Management. Matt Thompson - Assistant General Manager, Sales
Matt's introduction to Minor League Baseball came when he spent the summer of 2002 as the radio voice of the Williamsport (Pa.) Crosscutters. His next step was an internship with the Scrappers during the 2004 championship campaign before being hired as an account executive for the inaugural season of the (Charleston,) West Virginia Power in 2005. He would rejoin the Mahoning Valley staff the following year. Matt graduated in 2003 with a degree in Communications from Lycoming College (Williamsport, Pa.), where he also swam and played water polo. He is a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater, watching and playing sports, the New York Finger Lakes Region, and putting Frank's RedHot on just about everything he eats. The Canisteo, N. Brad Hooser - Assistant General Manager, Operations
The 2016 season will be Brad's fifteenth season in Minor League Baseball and his twelfth with the Scrappers. Brad returned to the Scrappers after spending one season as the General Manager of Aerofare for the Akron Aeros. Brad previously was the Director of Concessions from 2005-2009. He also served as an Account Executive during the 2004 season. Before joining the Scrappers, Brad worked two seasons in the Frontier League, as the Assistant General Manager for the Canton Coyotes and Sales Coordinator/ Director of Stadium Operations for the Canton Crocodiles. Brad graduated from Bowling Green State University in May 2001 with a degree in Sports Marketing and a Minor in marketing. Chris Sumner - Group Sales Manager
The 2016 season will be Chris's seventh year with the Scrappers and his sixth as a full-time front office employee. He previously was an Account Executive and Marketing intern for the Scrappers and also has worked for the Cleveland Indians as a "Fun Bunch" member and the University of Akron Athletics department as a Marketing intern. Chris is a native of Champion, Ohio and a graduate of Champion High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Sport Management and obtained minors in Sales Management and Marketing from The University of Akron. Email: csumner@mvscrappers.com.

Roxanne Herrington - Accounting Manager & Human Resource Manager
Roxanne Herrington will return for 2016 season as the Accounting Manager & Human Resource Manager, previously the Box Office Manager for the Scrappers. A 2014 ticket sales intern for the Lake County Captains in Eastlake, Ohio, she also served as a ballpark operations intern for the Pittsburgh Pirates during the summer of 2012. Roxie earned a 4.0 master of education degree in sport administration from Xavier University of Cincinnati in 2014 and is a 2013 summa cum laude Honors Program graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in sport administration. She also was a four-year scholar athlete as a softball pitcher for the Edinboro Fighting Scots. Roxie enjoys recreational boxing and softball, and is an avid Buffalo Sabres fan. Ryan Olszewski - Head Groundskeeper & Assistant Director of Stadium Operations
The 2016 season will be Ryan's sixth in minor league baseball and second with the Scrappers. Previous to joining the Scrappers, Ryan spent the last four years with the Akron Aeros/Rubberducks in the grounds and operations departments and the last two as a front office staff member. He graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management. Ryan is a native of Warren, Ohio and a graduate of Howland High School. He currently resides in Niles, Ohio. Kate Walsh - Community Relations & Merchandise Manager
2016 marks Kate's second season with the Scrappers. Prior to joining the Scrappers, Kate spent time in the Frontier League with the Washington Wild Things as Box Office Manager and Lake Erie Crushers as Director of Promotions. She also spent a season in the ECHL as a sales consultant for the Kalamazoo Wings. Kate graduated from Heidelberg University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and Public Relations. Tyler Adams - Box Office Manager
The 2016 season will be Tyler's seventh season with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers but his first as a full-time front office employee. He spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons as a Marketing & Promotions intern and Marketing Assistant, respectively. Prior to interning with the Scrappers, he spent four seasons with the team as a concessions employee. Outside of baseball, Tyler enjoys video making for YouTube, playing drums, and reading. He graduated summa cum laude from The University of Akron in May of 2015 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, a major in Business and Organizational Communication - Public Relations and a minor in Psychology.
