Karisa Baker

Corporate Partnerships Intern

This is Karisa's first season with the TinCaps and first experience working in the sports industry. She is thrilled to be a part of the 2013 staff and is looking forward to helping create a memorable season for everyone who comes to Parkview Field this year.

A Decatur, Indiana, native, Karisa graduated from Bellmont High School in 2008. She has 3 younger brothers and has been around sports all her life, participating in volleyball, soccer, swimming, basketball, and softball. She even went to Cooperstown, NY in 2009 to watch one of her brothers play at the Cooperstown Dreams Park. While there she saw Yogi Berra and Goose Gossage in person!

Karisa went to Purdue University and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Psychology. She has been a life-long fan of Purdue sports and her family has been going to Purdue football games for years. During her time at Purdue, Karisa was also heavily involved with Purdue Circle K, a community service organization affiliated with Kiwanis, and discovered a love of helping those in need.

Karisa enjoys watching all sports, particularly Purdue (Boiler up!) and Chicago area teams (Blackhawks, Cubs, Bears, Bulls). In her spare time she enjoys reading, volunteering, coaching youth volleyball, and hanging out with family and friends.
