Bark in the Park: August 16
On Sunday, August 16, the Nashville Sounds will hold a Bark in the Park night at First Tennessee Park when the Sounds take on the El Paso Chihuahuas at 6:35 p.m. Tickets start at $13 for owners who wish to spend a Sounds game with their four-legged friend. A portion of all dog tickets will support the Nashville Humane Association.
Seating sections 101-104 will be set aside for all dogs and their owners in attendance. Dogs will not be allowed into the additional seating sections at First Tennessee Park. All fans are asked to only bring well-behaved, social, and leashed dogs to the ballpark. The Sounds will provide bowls of water for the dogs.
To purchase tickets, enter the code "BARK" after clicking 'Find Tickets' at the Bark in the Park tickets page.
To be a part of this memorable night at First Tennessee Park, all dog owners will have to sign a waiver (available for download here) and present proof of updated rabies vaccinations for their dog prior to entering the ballpark. All dogs must be kept on a leash while inside the ballpark and owners must promptly bag and dispose of any waste created by their dog. Other important ballpark reminders can be found here.
The first 500 dogs to enter the park will receive a FREE Nashville Sounds dog bowl!
Also on site at the ballpark that evening will be the Nashville Humane Association's mobile adoption unit, Teddy's Wagon, where the hopeful animals will be available for adoption.
