The Tennessee Smokies are now accepting applications for positions at Smokies Stadium. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in sports and be a member of an award winning team that has over 100 years of experience in professional sports. The Tennessee Smokies are looking for the individuals who are willing to put in the hard work to get the experience necessary for a successful career in sports! Whether you need college credit or just hungry for experience we have something for you.
While each job here at Smokies Stadium is different, each one requires physical demands that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing your duties you may be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, run, sit, navigate stairs, stoop, kneel or crouch. You may be asked to occasionally lift and/or move up to approximately 25 pounds. You will be exposed to outside weather conditions and noise levels. We ask that you be aware of these conditions and if you feel that you cannot meet these requirements, please inform the person with whom you interview.
Operate one of three cameras (two stationary and one roaming) during all 2017 Tennessee Smokies home games. Must have basic camera experience, be able to assist with set up of equipment, and respond quickly to directions. Please email your résumé to Drew Gibby.
Game Day Production

Rally Crew Member
On field personality who helps plan, coordinate & execute half inning events. Work closely with the promotional department to implement new ideas and themes to the Tennessee Smokies home games. Game Day Host
On field host of all 70 home games. Work closely with the promotional department to implement new ideas and themes to the Tennessee Smokies home games. Ticket Sellers work in the ticket office selling tickets to the general public for each home game. Must be familiar with working on computers and cash handling. Must also be able to provide information to fans regarding our promotional schedule, opponents, Smokies Stadium, and any other events at the stadium. Ticket Taker/Group Area Attendant
Duties include but are not limited to greeting guests, checking tickets for correct dates, scanning tickets, facilitating management and organization of group area, minor set up before guests arrive, placing appropriate wristbands on guests as they arrive, and being the point person for any questions groups may have during their event. Retail Store Associate
Duties include greeting customers, helping customers find products, cashiering, and maintenance of our retail store. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, be willing to work a flexible schedule, and be a self-motivator. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting customers and guests attending games in designated group areas, facilitating management and organization of group areas, set up and break down of all food serving equipment, and proactively maintaining food levels on all buffet lines during group events to create positive customer experiences. Group areas include Calhoun's at the Yard, the Smoky Mountain Brewery Bullpen, the Clubhouse sponsored by Floor & Decor, the Pioneer Porch, and the Luxury Level Porch. Concession Stand Worker
Concession stand workers prepare/serve food to fans attending Smokies games. Various duties include cash register operation, food preparation and cleaning. Workers are expected to perform the duties of their job as assigned by the stand manager or the Concessions Manager. Employee are expected to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and a positive attitude. Some workers will be responsible for handling cash and making proper change. Concession Stand Manager
The stand manager is responsible for safe and efficient operation of the stadium's concession stands. Each stand manager will oversee a small number of stand workers and insure that each worker performs the duties that are assigned to them. The stand manager is responsible for insuring accurate inventory and cash deposits are performed after each event. Reports directly to the Concessions Manager. Vendors sell refreshments in the seating areas of the ballpark. Candidates need to be in very good physical condition. Must be able to carry loads of up to 40 pounds up and down the stairs of the stadium. Commission based on amount of product sold. Please email your résumé to Scott Tallon.

First Aid Attendant
Will be stationed in First Aid room and will respond to any medical needs of fans/staff. Must be an EMT or Paramedic with current license. Please email your résumé to Brian Cox.
Duties include direct fan customer service, assisting people in finding their seats including walking up and down stairs at least 18 times per game, making sure people sit in their ticketed seats, answering any questions fans may have, assisting security in keeping fans out of restricted areas, and ensuring the safety and comfort of fans in your vicinity. Pocket Schedule Delivery Driver
Drive and deliver pocket schedules to businesses and establishments in East Tennessee. You will be required to speak to business representatives and/or managers as a representative of the Tennessee Smokies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance of the field, set up/break down batting pactice, upkeep of equipment and it's safe operation, assist in rain delay procedures, and safely perform all duties and responsibilities. Job Attitude: A passion for the Smokies and Cubs, a positive attitude, desontrate ability to thrive in a team setting, ability to work under stress, respond well to coaching and feedback. Duties include picking up large trash items in seating area and around the stadium, sweeping and washing down dugouts areas, cleaning of groups areas including decks and picking up large trash items in the parking lot. Kids Zone Staff/Playground Game Operator
Duties include operating the Speed Pitch, Home Run Challenge, and other inflatables. Applicants must enjoy working with children, be outgoing and personable.
