Q: How much does it cost to sign my class/school up for Homer's Reading Program?
A: It is completely FREE to sign your class/school up...the Chiefs will provide all materials for you!

Q:How do I sign my class up for Homer's Reading Program?
A: It's easy, you can either sign up online on this web page or print off the enrollment form on this web page and mail it into the Peoria Chiefs at 730 SW Jefferson, Peoria, IL 61605 (Fax: 309-680-4080)

Q: What do I do if I want to participate, but already have a reading program in place?
A: For Homer's Reading Program we let the teachers place their own requirements...this way you can use Homer's Reading Program to supplement a reading program you already have in place.

Q: How do I keep track of my student's progress to home plate?
A: The Chiefs will send you a poster that you can use to track each of your student's progress!

Q: How do I guarantee seating together as a class?
A: The ONLY way to guarantee seating together is to place your together as a group. To do this, collect all your student's ticket order forms, and mail them back into the Chiefs together two weeks prior to game date.

Q: What if I don't want to deal with the hassle of collecting my student's ticket order forms?
A: You can also choose to let each individual family mail their ticket order form into the Chiefs; however, this will not guarantee that your class will sit together.

Q: When will our student's get their tickets?
A: They will receive their tickets after you complete the program.

Q: How do we win the field trip to the Chiefs ball park?
A: Easy...suggest our reading program to any teachers in your school who are currently not participating in the Homer's Reading program...the school with the highest percentage of students participating will be our winner!

Q:When will students receive their hot dog and soda? 
A:Students that complete the reading program and receive a ticket to a Peoria Chiefs game will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and soda when they arrive at the ballpark on the day of the game. No vouchers will be mailed to schools for distribution. Students must attend the game to receive voucher.
