The Smokies are very much involved in the local East Tennessee community with several kids programs, as well as numerous mascot and player appearances throughout the season. Parents, if your child has earned the equivalent of an "A" average or attained perfect attendance for the year, they will get to go to a Smokies game for FREE! Bring their report card and/or perfect attendance certificate to the Smokies Ticket Office and you can receive a free Bleacher Level ticket. The program is valid for students in K-12 and can only be redeemed once per child.
The Smokies Full Season Ticket Holders can donate their unused tickets to the Caring Hands Program. This program is designated to help the Smokies Season Ticket Holders Help others.
If you know in advance that you will not be able to attend a certain game, or if you would like to donate your tickets to those less fortunate, simply contact your Smokies Ticket Representative and let us know that you would like to donate your tickets to the Caring Hands Program. We'll help you select a charity or organization and you'll simply turn in your unused tickets to the ticket office. We'll coordinate their delivery to our Caring Hands Guest.

Smokies Mascots, Slugger, Diamond & Homer The Hound are available to attend events & schools in our surrounding counties. All appearances are based on availability - please call or email Allie Crain at least one month in advance to inquire about availability.
Smokies players have very limited availiblity to make appearances due to their busy practice and game schedule. If you are interested in scheduling a Smokies player for your event please contact Allie Crain with the Smokies at 865-286-2358 or email.
A Smokies staff member is available to speak for your school, group or club. Sharing information about the team, working in sports, upcoming events. Please call 865-286-2358 or email Allie Crain to schedule a Smokies Staff member to speak to your group. Tours and speakers are also available to school groups wishing to take a tour of Smokies Stadium and learn about the team and jobs in the sports industry.
Students in Sevier, Knox, Jefferson & Hamblen Counties K-5th grades received a bookmark at school for the Slugger's Reading Club. By reading 4 books they earn a free admission to a selected game. Students will participate in a post game parade and be recognized by school on-field and will then get to enjoy the fireworks from the field with their families.
Sevier & Knox County School Resource Officers were each provided with 24 " Tickets" to give out to kids exhibiting good behavior at school. Each "ticket" is good for one child and one adult admission to a 2016 Smokies Home game.
Each year the Smokies provide pencils and testing tip bookmarks to 3rd - 5th grade students in Sevier & Knox Counties to be used during the state standardized testing.
The Smokies receive hundreds of request each year for charitable organization events. We donate tickets or merchandise to as many of these organizations as possible. Request are processed in the order they are received and the approval process usually takes 3 weeks. All request must be submitted online through our Donation Request Page.
