Rainout Policy

We always try our hardest to play games when they're regularly scheduled at Dell Diamond, and generally, we will wait to see conditions at game time before making a call. Conditions often improve here quickly in Central Texas, and our field has a state-of-the-art draining system that helps us get it play-ready in a swift amount of time. Given we only have a handful of off days throughout our 140-game season, it is imperative we try our best to get the game in when we can. We will post updates on game time to our social media accounts, particularly Facebook and Twitter.

Of course, sometimes we are forced to postpone or suspend a game. In case that happens, here's some answers to questions you might have about exchanging your tickets.

1. What constitutes a rainout/when will I get a raincheck?

A raincheck is issued if we have to postpone the game before it has started or if we have to suspend the game before five innings have been completed (or 4 1/2 if the Express are winning).

2. How do I exchange my ticket?

Just bring your ticket stub from the postponed or suspended game to the Express ticket office during normal business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday on non-game days and 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on game days). You will need your physical ticket stub to exchange your ticket.

3. When does my raincheck expire?

Your raincheck expires at the end of the current season.

4. What game can I use my raincheck on?

Your raincheck is good for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any Express home game during the current season, as long as seats are available.

5. How do we know if a game is rained out/postponed before we head out to Dell Diamond?

You can always check our social media sites (Facebook and Twitter), our website or give us a call at (512) 255-2255 and we'll be more than happy to let you know what the current situation is of the game.

6. If a postponed game is rescheduled for a double header, do I have to use my tickets then?

No, you may exchange your tickets to any Express home game during the current season.

7. What about parking?
Just save your parking receipt and bring it with you to any other game this season and turn it in to your attendant for complimentary parking that evening.
