Alcohol Management Policy

New York State Law requires that consumers must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Upon request, each customer must present valid ID at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse any sale. There is a two beer maximum per ID.

 

Animals
Fans are not permitted to bring animals into "The Joe", with exception of guide or service dogs for disabled fans. Dogs will be permitted on "Bark in the Park" Night.

 

ATM
There is an automated teller machine located in SouthPaw's Den (team store).

 

Autographs
ValleyCats players and coaches are usually available before and after the games. We ask all fans to return to their seats 15 minutes prior to the start of the game. Players are not permitted to sign autographs during the game. After each home game, 2 players will sign autographs at the Mohawk Honda Autograph Booth near the front gates.

 

Baseball Buddies

The ValleyCats invite your youth baseball, softball, little league teams, and other youth groups - in uniform - on to the field at "The Joe" to stand side-by-side with the pros for the National Anthem. With a minimum of a 25 person group, there is no additional charge to participate in the Baseball Buddies program.

 

Batting Practice

The gates open one hour prior to the first pitch. Often, Batting Practice will end before the gates open. On special occasions, Season Ticket Holders, Kids Club Members, etc will be invited to enter early.

 

Buddy's BBQ

Located down the 1st Base Line by the Picnic Pavilion. The char-pit features Lupo's Chicken Spiedies, jumbo hot dogs, Black Angus Burgers, fresh corn on the cob, and salt potatoes.

 

Camera & Video Equipment

Small film or digital still cameras are permitted inside stadium. Fans taking pictures will not be permitted to interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.

 

Cellular Phones

The use of cellular phones is permitted at "The Joe," provided such use doesn't interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the ball game.

 

Credit Cards

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are accepted at the Ticket Office, (2) Main Concession Stands, and Online Store. SouthPaw's Den will only accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover Card.

 

Family Restrooms

Family restrooms are available behind section 180.

 

Fan Behavior

ValleyCats management reserves the right to revoke tickets and/or refund the money of any person using obscene or abusive language, exhibiting inappropriate behavior, or appearing intoxicated. Fans that enter the playing field are subject to ejection and possible arrest.

 

Elevators
There is one elevator located behind home plate, taking people from the field level to the Suite Level. This is only to be used by those who will be watching the game from one of our Suites or Diamond Club.

 

Fan Center

The ValleyCats Fan Center is located on the concourse directly behind home plate. At the Fan Center, fans can sign up for contests and games, claim prizes, ask questions, give comments, etc. Fan's can also stop by the Fan Center and get commemorative buttons for their first visit, or birthdays!

 

Field Access

Only authorized personnel are allowed on the field. All violators are subject to immediate ejection and prosecution.

 

First Aid

Emergency Medical Technicians from North Greenbush Ambulance Service are stationed throughout the ballpark. Please report any incident to ushers, security, front office staff or the fan center on the concourse behind home plate. North Greenbush Ambulance can be reached at (518) 283-5511. Ushers have contact information for the onsite EMTs.

 

Food & Concessions

Fans are not allowed to bring any coolers, containers, outside food, or beverages into "The Joe".

Choices include freshly grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, Lupo's famous Chicken Spiedies, wood fire pizza, italian sausage, etc. Soft serve ice cream is served down the right field line. Pretzels, hard ice cream, and kettlecorn are served down the left field line.

 

Foul Balls

Fans are welcome to keep any foul ball hit into the seats. At no time should a foul ball or home run be thrown back on the field. Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest. Any guest interfering with a ball in play will be subject to ejection form the ball park.

 

Game Times

The ValleyCats regular games times are; Monday-Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 5pm, Education Day (June 17th) at 10am, Camp Days (July 20th & August 11h) at 11am, July 3rd and July 4th at 6:30pm, July 19th at 6:00pm, and September 7th at 5:00pm/ All exceptions will be listed on the schedule tab on www.tcvalleycats.com. All game times are subject to change.

 

Handicapped Access

Joseph L. Bruno Stadium is wheelchair accessible. Fans must contact the ticket office directly to purchase ADA Seating.

Handicapped parking is available at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium; spaces are nearest the front gate in the right field and left field parking lots.

 

Information Boards

The info boards are located behind home plate on the first and third base sides of the concourse. On the first base side has home and away teams starting lineups and on the third base side is the current league standings.

 

Kids Club - " 'Cats Crew Kids Club"

Fans may sign up for the 'Cats Crew Kids Club either in SouthPaw's Den behind home plate or on www.tcvalleycats.com. Any child 12 years old or younger are eligible. Registration is $20; a full list of benefits can be found online or in SouthPaw's Den. Free activities may be downloaded by all fans at www.tcvalleycats.com.

 

Kids Zone

The Kids Zone is located down the left field side of the concourse. This area has the Speed Pitch and Bouncy Bounce inflatable along with other games to keep the kids busy. Birthday parties are held in this area.

 

Left Field Louie's

Located down the left field concourse, this stand features wood fire pizza, pulled pork, and okten a specialty dinner that matches the night's theme. Brown's Beer and BBQ pork is also served at this location.

 

Lost and Found

Any items may be turned in or claimed at the Fan Center, located behind home plate. Items not claimed within 7 days will be donated to charity.

 

Mascots
SouthPaw, Pappy, Rowdy, and all the cast of characters are what make the experience at "The Joe" unforgettable. These guys can bee seen throughout the ballpark.

 

National Anthem

Auditions are held prior to the season at Crossgates Mall. Performers are scheduled prior to the start of the season.

 

Office Hours

During the season, the office is open from 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday. The ticket office opens at 10am and closes at 6pm.

 

Paging
Paging over the PA system or scoreboard will be done at the discretion of the ValleyCats staff for emergencies only. Fans in need of this service should report to the Fan Center, located behind home plate.

 

Parking
All parking at "The Joe" is FREE to all of our fans. Parking lots are located on both the first and third base sides of the stadium. There are additional lots on the Hudson Valley Community College campus and across Route 4 at the South Road stop light.

 

Picnic Pavilion

Located down the right field line, the picnic area is available for pre-game parties for groups of 20 or more who purchase tickets through our group sales department. When the picnic has concluded, all fans are welcome to enter the pavilion.

 

Programs

Copies of the Homeplate Central News, the Official Gameday Program of the Tri-City ValleyCats, are available FREE to fans in the ballpark, either upon entrance, or at Fan Services. Homeplate Central News includes feature articles, updated player profiles, fun games, team information and MORE. Commemorative yearbooks are available for $3.00.

 

Radio
Every 2015 Tri-City ValleyCats game, both home and away, will be broadcasted and be heard live through the internet, via the team's "webcast" by clicking on the appropriate link. The ValleyCats are not broadcast on an FM or AM station. For any questions about the ValleyCats radio broadcasts, feel free to email mediarelations@tcvalleycats.com.

 

Rain Outs & Rain Checks

The team posts delay and rainout information on www.tcvalleycats.com or on Facebook and Twitter. 

In the event 5 innings of one game are not completed, unless the ValleyCats are in the lead at the end of 4 1/2 innings, ticket are good for any 2015 regular season home game. Tickets may be exchanged at "The Joe" box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to prior sales.

 

Restrooms
Men's and Women's restrooms are located on the right field and left field concourse near the main concession stands. All restrooms feature baby changing stations and are wheelchair accessible. (See also Family Restrooms.)

 

Rugrats
Children under 3 years old, who do not occupy a seat, are admitted in to the ballpark for free.

 

Scoreboard Messages

The ValleyCats are happy to recognize birthdays, anniversaries, and group outings on the message board. Announcements must be received 24 hours in advance, and the ValleyCats reserve the right to screen all messages. Last minute announcements may be turned in at the Fan Center. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fit in these last minute requests into the game.

 

Schedules
Pocket schedules are available at the stadium, Stewart's Shops, Subway, and various locations around the Capital Region.

 

Smoking Restrictions

As of 2013, tobacco use is prohibited on all Hudson Valley Community College grounds, college-owned, or leased properties. Tobacco is defined as all tobacco-derived of containing products, including but not limited to cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, hookah smoked products, pipes, and oral tobacco. It also includes any product intended to mimic tobacco products or contain tobacco flavoring.

 

SouthPaw's Den

Located on the third base side of the main entrance, SouthPaw's Den is the source for all ValleyCats souvenirs. The shop opens 1 hour prior to first pitch and remains open throughout the game, until the last fan leaves.

 

Security Procedures

All fans are subject to random inspection upon entering "The Joe" including all bags, back-packs, purses, etc. For the comfort of our fans, the ValleyCats management reserves the right to not allow hazardous or disruptive items into the stadium.

 

Strollers
"The Joe" welcomes fans that bring and use their own strollers, however the use of these should not inhibit general fan movement, or block any aisles.

 

Suite Level

Fans with suite level tickets may access their seats via the elevator, located on the first base side behind home plate, as well as the stair wells located behind sections 150 and 160.

 

Tiki Hut

Located behind section 230 the Tiki Hut is open to the public. The area features peanuts and ice cold beer.

 

Top of the Hill Grill

Located beyond the left field wall, the Top of the Hill Grill is available for pre and in-game parties for groups of up to 120 who purchase tickets through our group sales department. This unique open air venue offers the best view in the entire stadium and features a brand new granite topped bar. If the area is not reserved for a group, it will be open to all fans.

 

Tours

Tours of "The Joe" are available June thru September. Tours must be setup in advance through the front office.

 

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located throughout the concourse; there are two directly behind home plate, one by Brown's Brewing, and one by Vamos Tacos.
