VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY INFORMATION
Habitat for Humanity

This project is Habitat for Humanity's first ever Veteran Home Build for the Wirth family. Mark Wirth served 6 years in the US Air Force - he and his wife Emily are the first in their families to have graduated from high school and are now both pursing nursing degrees while raising their two children, Natalie and Troy. Note: Spots are limited so sign up today!

  • Date: Saturday, July 21st
  • Time: 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (lunch break at 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
  • Location: 2174 Verano St. Sacramento, CA 95838
  • The site we will be working on has not been assigned a house number, but this is the address next door to it. Feel free to use it for navigational purposes
  • Age limits: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and must be accompanied by a legal guardian on the job site
  • Tasks: Siding or rolling roof trusses.

Operation Backpack

In partnership with Volunteers of America NCNN, we will sort and stuff backpacks that will be distributed to homeless children and foster youth in the Sacramento area. These backpacks will help them start school off the right way!

  • Date: Saturday, August 4th
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Location: 4131 Power Inn Rd. Suite A, Sacramento, CA 95826
  • Tasks: Sort and pack school supplies into backpacks
  • Age limits: All are welcome! Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
