Tom Dickson Managing Partner, Take Me Out To The Ballgame, L.L.C  

Tom Dickson formerly was Senior Vice President and Group Account Director of the Leo Burnett Company, the largest advertising agency in the United States. Dickson has managed several national business accounts including Kellogg, Procter & Gamble, Hallmark and Keebler.

Sherrie Myers Co-Owner, Vice President of Take Me Out To The Ballgame, L.L.C  

Sherrie Myers, a 1979 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, has 20 years of publishing, sales and sales management experience including the launch of several national magazines. Over the years, Myers has served in key management roles at the Chicago Tribune, Sunset, Smithsonian and Health magazines. Most recently, Myers was the co-founder of Selling Magazine, the first-ever national sales magazine for sales professionals.

Nick Grueser President

Nick GrueserNick is entering his sixth season as General Manager. Before becoming GM he spent six seasons as the Assistant General Manager. He started his career with the Lugnuts in 2001 as Group Sales Representative and has since become the longest tenured employee in the Lugnuts' history. Nick oversees the day to day operations of the business, specifically focusing on Sales, Sponsorships and Marketing. Nick graduated from Wilmington College in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and dual minors in Business and Leadership. The Ohio native was a four-year letterman and team captain for the Wilmington College football team. He currently resides in Mason with his wife, Valisa, and son, RJ.

Tyler Parsons General Manager

Parsons is entering his first season as General Manager of the Lansing Lugnuts. He previously served as GM of the Johnson City Cardinals from 2014-17, and the team saw an increase in attendance, ticket sales and corporate sales in each of his four seasons. The Cardinals set the organizations single season attendance record in 2016 and again in 2017. The team also set a single game attendance record in 2017 when a record crowd of 3,549 fans attended the game on July 3rd. Parsons was promoted to Vice President/General Manager prior to the 2017 season. Johnson City also enjoyed success on the field, as the team won the 2014 and 2016 Appalachian League Championships.

Prior to Johnson City, Parsons spent two years in the Coastal Plain League as the GM of the Martinsville Mustangs and Director of Fun with the Forest City Owls. He also served as the Ticket Sales Coordinator at Central Michigan and Sports Information Director at Mid Michigan Community College. Tyler is a graduate of Central Michigan University and is a native of Dansville, Michigan. He now resides in Lansing.

Nick Brzezinski Assistant General Manager

Nick BrzezinskiNick is entering his fourteenth season with the Lugnuts and fifth season as Assistant General Manager after being promoted in July 2012. Nick manages the Corporate Sales, Group Sales, Individual Season Ticket Sales, Box Office and works closely with all departments in preparation for each homestand during the season. A Bay City native, he graduated from Central Michigan University in 2003. Nick enjoys traveling, running, and visiting family. He currently resides in DeWitt with his wife, Janelle.

John Thompson Assistant Director, Food Services

John ThompsonJohn is beginning his ninth season with the Lugnuts, his first as Assistant Director, Food Services. John is a native of Lansing and attended Lansing Community College. With the new renovations at Cooley Law School Stadium, John is looking forward to new challenges managing the concessions and warehouse. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and watching sports in his free time.

Brianna Pfeil Finance Manager

Brianna is entering her first full season with the Lansing Lugnuts. She is a 2015 graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Accounting. Before joining the Lugnuts, Brianna worked as an accountant in the packaging industry. Originally from Arizona, Brianna now resides in Lansing and enjoys going to concerts, cheering on the Spartan football team, and visiting friends and family.

Angela Sees Executive Assistant/Community Relations Manager

Angela SeesThe first point of contact for business associates and customers, Angela joined the Lugnuts in 2008. She is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties for behind-the-scenes operations, under the direction of the general manager. A Michigan native and proud mom to an active ten year old, Angela enjoys a wide range of seasonal outdoor activities.

Mikaela Higgins Manager of Fan Engagement

This is Mikaela's second season with the Lansing Lugnuts. Her main responsibilities include developing and executing all theme nights, managing the mascot and pit crew entertainment staff and above all, keeping Lugnuts fans wildly entertained. Mikaela graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2015 where she received her Bachelor's degree in Radio-TV-Film and Communication Studies. Before joining the Lugnuts, Mikaela worked with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Green Bay Packers. In her free time, Mikaela enjoys attending Wisconsin athletic events, spending time on the lake and going to country music concerts. Mikaela is an avid softball player and found her love of baseball when she attended her first Milwaukee Brewers game with her father as a child.

Jesse Goldberg-Strassler Radio Broadcaster / Media Relations

This is Jesse's ninth season as Voice of the Lugnuts and his 13th season in professional baseball, handling the Lugnuts' media relations and radio broadcasts. A native Marylander and Ithaca College alumnus, Jesse is the author of two books: "The Baseball Thesaurus," now in its second edition, and "The Football Thesaurus."


Ryan LeFevre Production Manager

Ryan is not a stranger to minor league baseball since he just finished a seasonal position as Production Assistant with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (AA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays). He was also a Creative Services Assistant with the New Britain RockCats (now the Hartford Yard Goats). Ryan has had experience as a graphics consultant with the University of Hartford Athletic Department as well as Fox 61 Sports in Hartford CT. Born and raised in Connecticut, Ryan spends his spare time cheering on the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Ryan is looking forward to living in the Midwest and making the Lugnut fan experience the best in baseball.

David Tyler Business Development Executive

David received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 2002 and his MBA from Davenport University in 2012. An ardent supporter of Spartan athletics, he has also been following and rooting on the Lugnuts over the years and has observed the organization (and ballpark) develop, expand and establish itself as a top national minor-league affiliate, and currently serves in the front office as the Business Development Executive. David works to establish relationships with corporate clients and bring them and their employees to the ballpark as often as possible for a variety of occasions, developing game day experiences that make memories and exceed expectations. Justin Burkett Justin is entering his third season with the Lugnuts. He is a 2013 graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in Sport Management. Ironically, Justin began his post-secondary education at Michigan State University and he continues to be an avid Spartan fan. He works with a variety of groups to coordinate everything from school field trips to church and family outings. Justin resides in Jackson and enjoys golfing, attending Detroit Red Wings games and grilling out with friends and family.

Eric Pionk Group Sales Manager

Eric PionkEric enters his third season with the Lugnuts. Originally from Ruth, Eric graduated in 2010 from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management. He loves to cheer on the Detroit Tigers and Lions. He is also a diehard MSU Spartans fan and loves his CMU Chippewas. Eric also enjoys being on the golf course and on the basketball court. He currently resides in Lansing.

Josh Arendsen Group Sales Representative

Josh is in his first year with the Lansing Lugnuts after working for a team in Texas. He is from Holland and attended Western Michigan University. He is one of the few avid Michigan fans in the office as well as a fan of the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons. Josh enjoys golfing and traveling anytime that he can. He works with a lot of different groups and wants to make sure that they have an amazing time while supporting their Lugnuts.

Malinda Barr Events and Meetings Manager

A Lansing native, Malinda has been in the event industry for over 30 years with roots in Hospitality, Sales and Extreme Customer Service. Over the past 40 years of my career, she has taught Networking at Lansing Community College, presided over the Haslett/Okemos Rotary Club and founding member/president of the Meridian Area Business Association, and is currently a CTA, serving as 2016 CTA of the Year and 2016 International CTA through the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau. Contact Malinda directly for all events, meetings, gatherings and celebrations that will take place 'Beyond the Bases' but still within the stadium. Contact the sales department for all events that require a ticket to the game.

Ashley Loudan Corporate Partnerships Manager

Ashley LoudanAshley joined the Lugnuts in 2005 and worked seasonally in a variety of departments before landing a full-time position in Corporate Partnerships. She is a 2012 graduate of Michigan State University, where she attained a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. Ashley and her husband Kyle enjoy weekends at the lake, playing with their dog Knight, and watching sports together. Ashley's favorite sports teams include the Michigan State Spartans, Detroit Tigers and Green Bay Packers.

Zach Severns Head Groundskeeper

Zach is entering his first season as Head Groundskeeper of the Lugnuts. He graduated in 2012 from Washington State University with a degree in Integrated Plant Science with an emphasis on Turf Management. Zach has worked many different places, at every level from Little League to Major League Baseball. In his spare time, Zach likes to golf and watch Washington State football. Zach can be found always taking care of the field along with his border collie, Harley.

Dennis Busse Director of Stadium Operations

Dennis BusseDennis is entering his tenth season with the Lugnuts. He manages all stadium operations at Cooley Law School Stadium. Dennis is a 2005 graduate of the University of Michigan, attaining a degree in Sports Management and a minor in U.S. History. Originally from Bridgman, he is an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago Cubs and Oakland Raiders. Throughout the summer you can find him sharing useless trivia and playing as much golf as possible throughout Michigan.

Bill Getschman Operations Assistant Manager

Bill GetschmanEntering his fourth season in minor league baseball and third with the Lugnuts, Bill oversees the in-game and post-game maintenance and clean up services as well as all team oriented aspects such as scheduling road trips. When not at the ballpark, you can find the 2014 Hope College alum chasing his golf ball in the deepest part of the woods, breaking records for world's longest nap, and yelling at athletes on TV.

Matt Hicks Assistant Director of Retail

Matt HicksMatt begins his thirteenth season with the Lugnuts. His responsibilities include managing the games area in Big Lug's Playground and maintaining the Nuts and Bolts store where great Lugnuts merchandise is available year-round for fans of all ages. Matt previously served as Customer Service Specialist and Assistant Manager of Ticket and Retail Operations. He is a graduate of Northwood University where he received a Marketing and Management degree in Business. He spends much of his free time golfing, traveling to breweries across the state, and is rarely seen not wearing a hat. Claim to fame: Matt sold a Tervis Tumbler to the caddie (and brother) of professional golfer Dustin Johnson while working for the merchandise department at the 2015 PGA Championship in Kohler, Wisconsin. Matt will again assist the PGA this May as a merchandise volunteer for the 2016 Senior PGA Championship in Benton Harbor.

Greg Kruger Season Ticket Specialist

Greg KrugerGreg joined the Lugnuts in 2007. In his current role of Season Ticket Specialist, he assists Season Ticket Holders and ensures they have the best Lugnuts experience possible. Greg is a Michigan native and haps fallen in love with the Lansing area. When not attending or working Lugnuts games, Greg and his family enjoy attending various MSU athletic events and exploring the greater Lansing area.

Keith Schwartz Box Office Supervisor

Keith SchwartzKeith is enjoying his third season at the Lugnuts, his second year as the Box Office Supervisor. He oversees all activities related to the box office for both baseball games and special events. A native of Ada, Mich., he is a two-time graduate of Central Michigan University, receiving his bachelor's degree in business and his master's degree in Sports Administration. Away from the park, he can be currently found trying to decipher the rules of Cricket, attempting to create the world's greatest sandwich, improving his archery skills and learning the banjo.
