Crystal Bowen's Bio

Crystal Bowen

Director of Community Relations and Merchandise

Crystal was hired as the Director of Community Relations in March of 2016.She is responsible for all appearances in the community (mascot, player and staff), donation requests, Kids Club, Book Buddies program, and fundraising for the Bandits Scholar program. She'll be most recognized for hanging out with her new friend, Rascal, around town.

A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Crystal received Bachelor degrees in Business Administration- Marketing and Sport Management from Bemidji State University, while attending for four years on a Division II softball scholarship.

Crystal is no stranger to the Midwest League. Prior to joining the River Bandits she spent two seasons with the Beloit Snappers. She began as the Director of Tickets and Group Sales in 2014 before becoming the Director of Ticketing, Community Relations and Merchandise after her first season, and finally making her way up to Assistant General Manager-Customer Service and Events in February of 2016. Crystal has also worked with both Camelback Ranch-Glendale (Spring training home of the Dodgers and White Sox), and the Duluth Huskies (Northwoods League).

As a typical Minnesotan, Crystal loves being outside in her free time. She can often be found running, fishing, skiing, or on a ball field. There's a pretty good chance that you will see her watching baseball even on her days off during the summer, especially if the Twins or Dodgers are on. She's also a Vikings fan, although sometimes that isn't too easy to admit.
