2017 Battle of the Birds

The Memphis Redbirds will welcome the St. Louis Cardinals to AutoZone Park for a "Battle of the Birds" exhibition game on March 30, 2017, which celebrates the beginning of the 20th year of affiliation between the clubs!

 

Ticket Information

Individual game tickets are on sale now. They can be purchased below, in-person at the AutoZone Park Box Office or via phone at (901) 721-6000 Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Redbird Club tickets include access to a pregame talk and Q&A with Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak. The session will begin at approximately 6:00, after the Cardinals have taken batting practice. MORE INFO

The Redbirds are offering suites for the "Battle of the Birds" Cardinals exhibition game for fans who want to watch in style with at least 15 people!

Menu Options:
• "Take Me Out to the Ballgame": bottomless popcorn and peanuts, jumbo hot dogs, classic nachos, cookies/brownies platter, soft drinks and bottled water


• "Day at the Ballpark": bottomless popcorn and peanuts, jumbo hot dogs, ballpark burgers, Memphis BBQ nachos, cookies/brownies platter, soft drinks and bottled water


• "Champion BBQ Menu": bottomless popcorn and peanuts, salsa fiesta, cheese platter, fruit platter, crudities, 9-layer dip, jumbo prawns, beef tenderloin, BBQ, cookies/brownies platter, soft drinks and bottled water


NOTE: each menu is bottomless for two hours (one hour when gates open and one hour into the game), and food is removed in the 7th inning

Pregame Information

Doors Open: 4:00 p.m.

Redbirds Batting Practice: 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Cardinals Batting Practice: 5:15-6:00 p.m.

Pregame Ceremonies Begin: 6:35 p.m.

First Pitch: 7:05 p.m.

Will Call tickets can be picked up all next week at the AutoZone Park Box Office from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. They can also be picked up beginning at 10:00 the day of the game. Batting practices will take place weather permitting.

Broadcast Information

The "Battle of the Birds" will be broadcast locally on Sports56 with Steve Selby providing the play-by-play, as well as on MemphisRedbirds.com, TuneIn Radio and the MiLB First Pitch app. Live video will be available through MiLB.tv.
