Robert Stedler

Robert Stedler

Stedler is considered a "founder" of the New York-Penn League. While a sports editor at the Buffalo Evening News, it was mainly through his efforts that the, then, PONY League was formed with teams from Pennsylvania, Ontario, and New York. He served as League President for 10 years. One of the league's 3 divisions is named in his honor.
