Ken Babby Owner & Chief Executive Officer

Ken Babby

Ken Babby, a native of Potomac, Maryland, opened a new era of Jacksonville baseball by becoming Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Jacksonville's Minor League Baseball club in September 2015. Building on Jacksonville's baseball tradition, he introduced the team's new identity as the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Nov. 2, 2016.

Babby, 38, is the founder of Fast Forward Sports Group and the youngest multi-team professional sports owner, owning the Akron RubberDucks since October 2012. He was named one of Sports Business Journal's 2016 "Forty Under 40," recognizing excellence and innovation in sports business careers - all before age 40. In 2017, he was named to the Jacksonville Business Journal's 40 under 40, and he was an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award winner in the Northeast Ohio region.

In the inaugural season as the Jumbo Shrimp, attendance increased by more than 61,000 - the most of any Double-A ballpark and a Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville-record 23 percent - to more than 325,000 for the first time in seven years. The opening homestand of 41,276 was the highest-attended series in the ballpark's history. The Jumbo Shrimp won the Southern League's Organization of the Year and Promotional Trophy, winning two Minor League Baseball Promotions of the Month.

Babby has invested more than $1.8 million into the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville to add the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, renovate all the private luxury suites on the BDO Suite Level, develop the Hot Corner group hospitality area, expand the suite-level lounge, and improve other ballpark areas.

In his first five seasons with Akron, the team moved from ninth to as high as fourth in the Eastern League standings, while welcoming more than 340,000 fans each of the past four seasons since the identity change to the RubberDucks. Babby has also personally invested more than $6 million for improvements to Canal Park. In the second year as the Rubber Ducks, Akron earned the 2015 Larry MacPhail Award, which goes to the Minor League Baseball team with the most outstanding and creative marketing and promotional efforts. Since Babby's acquisition of the Akron club, the franchise has grown average attendance by 38 percent and in 2016 was the Eastern League nominee for the John H. Johnson President's Award, Minor League Baseball's top award for an organization.

Prior to Akron, Babby spent 13 years in various marketing positions with the Washington Post and its online and social media counterpart, Washington Post Digital. After starting as a summer intern with the newspaper in 1999, Babby rose through the ranks, eventually attaining the position of Vice President of Advertising, and most recently, Chief Revenue Officer of Washington Post Media and General Manager of Washington Post Digital.

Babby's two-fold mission is to create a memorable, unique, affordable and enjoyable fan experience, and maximize the opportunity to create change in the community through charitable, wellness and education initiatives.

He serves on numerous boards in Northeast Ohio. In Jacksonville, Babby is a Trustee Chair of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and on the Jacksonville University Board of Trustees, Jewish Community Alliance Board of Directors, Baptist Hospitals of Florida Board of Directors, and Visit Jacksonville Board. He is also the chair of the Baseball Internet Rights Company (BIRCO), which manages the digital and interactive media rights of its member Minor League Baseball clubs and leagues. Ken is married to his wife, Liz, and has a 9-year-old son, Josh.

Jim Pfander President

Jim Pfander

Veteran minor league baseball executive Jim Pfander was named president of Fast Forward Sports Group LLC - comprising the Akron RubberDucks and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp - in October 2015. An Akron, Ohio, native and Ohio University graduate, he has been General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of the Akron franchise since October 2012.

After serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Aeros in 2011, Pfander was the first executive hired by team owner and Fast Forward Sports Group founder Ken Babby after the latter bought the club. Under Pfander, the Akron franchise has risen into one of the Minor League Baseball's premier franchises. In 2016, Pfander was named the Eastern League Executive of the Year.

During the new ownership's first season in 2013, the then-named Aeros posted a franchise-record single-season attendance increase of nearly 12 percent. Following the season, Pfander led a company-wide identity change from the Aeros to the RubberDucks. The ensuing 2014 season at Canal Park saw the club reset its attendance increase record, jumping another 15.7 percent to a total of 350,704 and bringing the team from ninth to fourth in the Eastern League ranks. In the club's first two seasons as the RubberDucks, Akron hosted 23 sellouts and more than 340,000 fans in consecutive years for the first time since 2007-08.

Pfander has overseen large-scale additions to Canal Park, including a $1.65 million HD video board (one of the largest in Minor League Baseball), The Game Grill + Bar high-end restaurant, the Fowl Territory picnic area, the Tiki Terrace and Tiki Bar group areas, the exclusive, special-event Duck Club and other stadium improvements.

Pfander also started several special events at Canal Park, including the Ballpark Festival of Beers, Movie Nights, Fourth on the Field, and the Mini Golf Tournament. Akron's blend of special events and fun ballpark promotions, to go along with the creative concessions, including the Extreme Foods Menu, helped it earn the 2015 Larry MacPhail Award, which goes to the Minor League Baseball team with the most outstanding and creative marketing and promotional efforts.

In 2016, Akron hosted the Eastern League All-Star Game and Home Run Derby for the first time, saw an increase of more than 10,000 in attendance, and the team won its fifth Eastern League championship. The RubberDucks were nominated by the Eastern League for the Minor League Baseball's top award, the John H. Johnson President's Award, which goes to the most "complete" baseball franchise.

Pfander began as an intern in the Cleveland Indians broadcasting department in 2000; other stops during his 17-year career include various positions with teams in Charleston, S.C.; Brockton, Mass.; and Spokane, Wash. Before rejoining Akron, Pfander spent the 2012 season as the General Manager of the Charlotte (Fla.) Stone Crabs, where he also oversaw Tampa Bay Rays spring training and hosted the Class-A Advanced Florida State League's All-Star Game.

Pfander resides in Akron with his wife, Page, and daughters, Olivia and Ella.

Harold Craw General Manager

Harold Craw

Harold Craw was named the General Manager of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Sept. 17, 2015, when Fast Forward Sports Group, LLC, led by Ken Babby, officially took ownership of the Southern League club.

Bringing 14 seasons of Minor League Baseball experience to Jacksonville, Harold oversees marketing and sales, community engagement, game-day experience, and all other operational aspects of the organization at the dawn of a new era of affordable family fun at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Harold graduated from Emory and Henry College (Va.) with a bachelor's degree in physical education, and he earned a Master's Degree in Sport Management from East Tennessee State University in 2001. He started his Minor League Baseball career in 2002 with the Johnson City (Tenn.) Cardinals as director of stadium operations. He spent more than 10 seasons with the Charleston (S.C.) River Dogs from 2003 to 2012, twice being recognized by the South Atlantic League as Sales Executive of the Year and for community relations. He was the general manager of the Quad Cities River Bandits and a senior corporate sales executive, and later assistant general manager, of the Chattanooga Lookouts before being hired by Fast Forward Sports Group to lead the Jacksonville organization.

In each community he has lived, Craw has been an active volunteer, including co-founding and co-chairing the Charleston RBI Baseball League and mentoring middle school youth through Jacksonville's Duval County Public Schools 5000 Role Models program. He and his wife, Angie, have relocated to Jacksonville with their daughters Cameron and Jasmine.

Noel Blaha Assistant General Manager

Noel Blaha

Noel works closely with the General Manager in overseeing the media relations, merchandise and promotions departments, while also playing an integral role in the corporate partnership department.

Noel joined the Jacksonville front office in 2015 following 10 seasons with the Charleston (S.C.) RiverDogs as director of marketing, promotions director, box office manager and media relations assistant. With the RiverDogs, Noel helped oversee the 2012 South Atlantic League Home Run Derby from the flight deck of the USS Yorktown - a promotion that won two Minor League Baseball Golden Bobbleheads. Noel also helped the RiverDogs win the 2013 Larry MacPhail Award for Minor League Baseball's top promotional effort.

A native of Aberdeen, Scotland, Noel earned a bachelor's degree from Cornell (Iowa) College and a master's degree from Bowling Green (Ohio) State University. He has also worked with the Toledo (Ohio) Mud Hens (Triple-A International League), as well as in minor league soccer and hockey.

Noel, his wife Betsy, and their sons, Campbell and Andrew, now live in Jacksonville. Noel is an avid follower of the Bowling Green State University Falcons, Cleveland sports teams, Aberdeen Football Club and Southampton Football Club. In the community, Noel works with Junior Achievement and the Optimist Club.

Linda McNabb Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Linda McNabb

Linda oversees the Jumbo Shrimp' marketing and sales efforts. She joined the team in July 2015, bringing more than 30 years of experience in sales, including everything from car care chemicals, office supplies, boats and Harley Davidsons to baseball.

A Cleveland native, Linda worked in sales for three different southwest Florida radio stations before entering baseball. Linda began her career in baseball in 1994 with the Fort Myers Miracle (Class-A Advanced Florida State League) and the Minnesota Twins' Spring Training. She began as Director of Sales and was later Vice President and President of Miracle Professional Baseball. In 2001, she became a senior officer of the Goldklang Group, and she was awarded the Rawlings Female Executive of the Year, given to an outstanding woman executive by the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues, which governs all affiliated minor league clubs.

After 31 years in southwest Florida, Linda moved to Jacksonville. She has two grown children. Her daughter Nicole, son-in law Justin, a firefighter, and granddaughter Addison reside in Cape Coral, Fla. Her son Matthew, a United States Marine, and daughter-in-law Samantha reside in Jacksonville, N.C.

Christine Collins Office Manager

Christine Collins

Christine is the director of first impressions for the Jumbo Shrimp, greeting and assisting clients and guests in the Jumbo Shrimp administrative office. In a personable and helpful manner, she coordinates the switchboard for the front office, in addition to a variety of other front office duties.

Christine joined the Jumbo Shrimp after nearly 15 years as a retail merchandiser - with Mattel Toys, Warner Bros. and KRAFT Foods. She has also previously been the Program Director for the Alabama-Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America.

A native of Daleville, Alabama, Christine grew up in Germany, as her father served in the U.S. Army. She is married to Mark, in his 25th year in the U.S. Air Force/Air National Guard. They have 3 sons: Mark, Brent (currently serving in the U.S. Air Force) and Logan.

She is a certified SCUBA Rescue Diver and an Auburn fan who loves college football season. She volunteers with the American Cancer Society & American Red Cross Disaster Relief Programs.

Roger Hoover Director of Broadcasting

Roger Hoover

Roger Hoover is in his sixth season as the Director of Broadcasting and radio/television play-by-play announcer for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and 10th season broadcasting professional baseball. He serves as the radio play-by-play broadcaster for all 140 Jumbo Shrimp games and is the liaison between Jumbo Shrimp players and staff with the Jacksonville media and fans.

Hoover began broadcasting professional baseball for his hometown Kingsport (Tenn.) Mets of the Appalachian League in 2008. He was a broadcast assistant with the Tennessee Smokies for three seasons - beginning in 2009 when Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg managed the club - before joining Jacksonville. In his first seven seasons in the Southern League, he provided play-by-play in four Southern League Championship Series and was part of radio coverage for three All-Star Games and two editions of the Rickwood Classic in Birmingham, Ala.

Hoover graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2010 and has served his alma mater as a broadcaster and reporter for numerous Volunteer sports since his broadcasting career began with the Vol Network in 2006. He previously provided play-by-play for Carson-Newman University basketball and Maryville College football and basketball. Currently in the baseball offseasons, Hoover is the radio play-by-play broadcaster for University of Alabama women's basketball on the Crimson Tide Sports Network, and provides play-by-play for SEC Network+ broadcasts of baseball, softball, and soccer.

Away from the ballpark, Hoover enjoys exploring Jacksonville's many golf courses, and can always be found listening to the Drive-By Truckers, Grateful Dead, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. While he splits time between Jacksonville, Knoxville, and Tuscaloosa, Ala., Hoover is active with the First Baptist Church Kingsport Music Ministry, singing in the Sanctuary Choir when back in his hometown, and he has served on mission trips to Mexico and Chicago with FBC Kingsport.

Marco LaNave Media & Public Relations Manager

Marco LaNave

Marco works to serve the media locally, regionally and nationally and facilitates their coverage of the Jumbo Shrimp organization. He coordinates the Jumbo Shrimp presence on a variety of media platforms and is also on the Jumbo Shrimp radio broadcast team for home games.

One of two brothers and a native of St. Cloud, Minn., Marco earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota and also completed a science-writing internship at the Princeton (N.J.) Plasma Physics Laboratory. He was a radio production assistant with the Minnesota Twins in 2011, and he moved to Davenport, Iowa, in 2012 to work for the Quad Cities River Bandits (Class-A Midwest League). In the Quad Cities, he was the head of media relations and lead play-by-play broadcaster for four years with the River Bandits. He also broadcasted local high school football and basketball.

New to the Sunshine State - and south of all his family - when he moved to Jacksonville in December 2015, Marco is an active member of the Catholic Church and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He has also been a regular volunteer for Junior Achievement and a blood and platelet donor.

Brian DeLettre Creative Services Manager

Brian DeLettre

Brian oversees all aspects of the HD video board and LED outfield signs installed prior to the 2013 season at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. He also helps manage jaxshrimp.com, the press box staff and assists with the team's social media efforts.

A Jacksonville native, Brian's sports career began with then-Suns in 1998. His roles have included bat boy, clubhouse assistant, playground coordinator, usher, box office assistant, official scorer and media relations assistant. He joined the full-time staff in 2013.

Brian earned a bachelor's degree in physical education with emphasis in sports administration from Jacksonville University, where he worked in the athletic media relations office from 2005 to 2013. He also worked as a communications assistant for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL in 2007, and he continues to work on the Jaguars game day staff. He has also worked for three NCAA Basketball Tournaments, four Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championships, the 2007 ACC Football Championship, the Gator Bowl Association and the Jacksonville Giants (ABA).

In his spare time, Brian enjoys attending "other" team's baseball games, reading, movies, concerts and being a sitcom junkie.

Andrea Williams Director of Community Relations

Andrea Williams

Andrea ("A-Dub") leads the Jumbo Shrimp involvement in the wider Jacksonville community. She oversees player, mascot and staff appearances, ballpark tours, non-profit fundraising, reading programs and company donations, among other initiatives. She also plans and implements Jumbo Shrimp volunteer opportunities, as well as the corporate care program, by which businesses may donate tickets to non-profit organizations.

A native of Davenport, Iowa, and Valdosta, Ga., Andrea has an undergraduate degree in sociology, and master's degrees of education and public administration from Valdosta State University. In professional sports, she has worked as Director of Ticket Operations for the Quad Cities River Bandits (Class-A Midwest League) and as Account Executive for the Atlanta Dream (WNBA).

Andrea enjoys hanging out with friends and family - including her eight brothers and sisters and five nieces and nephews - watching movies, going to sporting events, and eating at new restaurants. Andrea believes, in the words of Muhammad Ali, "service to others is the rent we pay for our room here on earth," and she is a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Order of the Eastern Star- PHA.

Gary Nevolis Director of Corporate Partnerships

Gary Nevolis

Gary helps Jacksonville community businesses and organizations grow their enterprises through partnerships with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, and he is responsible for generating sponsorship revenue for the organization.

One of two brothers and a native of Long Valley, N.J., Gary earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management from Springfield (Mass.) College, where he was also a four-year wrestler and interned in the athletic department. He also had internships with Floyd Hall Enterprises and the New Jersey Jackals before his first affiliated baseball position as a promotions intern with the Lehigh Valley (Pa.) IronPigs (Triple-A International League). He worked the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the IronPigs as Manager of Corporate Partnerships before joining the Jumbo Shrimp.

In Lehigh Valley, Gary was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and local Little League field renovations. In Jacksonville, he has volunteered with Junior Achievement.

Ashley McCallen Partner Services Manager

Ashley McCallen

Ashley assists with the Jumbo Shrimp fulfillment of business partnership elements, including promotions, tickets, signage, VIP hospitality and game day activations at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

A native of Cary, N.C., Ashley graduated from East Carolina University in 2015 with a degree in hospitality management and a concentration in conventions and special events. She was an active member of Kappa Delta sorority during her time at ECU. Ashley has worked in baseball as a group services intern with the Burlington (N.C.) Royals, as a promotions intern with the Charleston (S.C.) RiverDogs (Class-A South Atlantic League), and as a business development intern for Minor League Baseball (St. Petersburg, Fla.), for which she helped plan and implement the annual Promotional Seminar and Baseball Winter Meetings.

Ashley loves traveling and exploring different areas. Although she has recently converted to supporting the Kansas City Royals, at heart she will always be a New York Yankees fan. She looks forward to becoming involved in the Jacksonville community.

Teresa Lively-Hall, MSA Accounting Manager

Teresa Lively-Hall

Teresa manages a broad set of both day-to-day and periodic financial operations for the organization.

Born in Modesto, California, and having lived in nine states, Teresa considers Florida home. She earned a Master of Science in accountancy from the online University of Phoenix. She has five years of restaurant management experience and 15 years in various accounting positions, most recently as an accounting specialist and department director for a nonprofit hospital in Mississippi.

Teresa is the oldest of four sisters, married, and the mother of three sons.

Teresa is actively involved with Holiday Helpers, a nonprofit that raises funds to provide Christmas to hundreds of local children affected by HIV or AIDS. Her sports career includes many 5K's, and she enjoys reading and movies - specifically in that order for the same story.

Jacob Yurdakul Accounting Assistant

Jacob Yurdakul

Jacob ensures accuracy of all accounting processes and procedures within the Jumbo Shrimp organization.

A native of Jacksonville, Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida, where he won intramural championships in dodgeball and bowling, while also competing in flag football, basketball and soccer.

Jacob worked previously on the maintenance staff of Northgate Lakes Apartments in Orlando before joining the Jumbo Shrimp.

Jacob loves going to theme parks like Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, and staying updated on their latest additions. He also enjoys watching movies, especially horror films and ones that have huge twists, playing video games and board games with friends.

Christian Galen Director of Field Operations

Christian Galen

Christian begins his 16th season with the organization as the Director of Field Operations.

The Shreveport, La., native graduated from Florida Gateway College with an associate in golf course operations and AS in computer science from the University of North Florida.

Away from the stadium, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and his two boys: Foster & Quinn.

Weill Casey Director of Stadium Operations

 Weill Casey

Weill works to keep the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at peak condition and make sure the fans enjoy their experience every time they come to the ballpark.

A native of Roanoke, Va., and raised in Martinsville, Va., Weill graduated from Radford (Va.) University with a degree in sports administration. He spent five years working concessions for the Salem (Va.) Avalanche/Red Sox (Class-A Advanced Carolina League) and interned with the Bristol (Va.) White Sox and Pulaski (Va.) Mariners in the Rookie Appalachian League. He also worked for the Radford University Athletic Department and volunteered as a parking attendant/valet for NASCAR races at the Martinsville Speedway. In 2015, he was the Stadium Operations Assistant for the Chattanooga (Tenn.) Lookouts (Double-A Southern League).

The youngest of eight brothers and sisters, Weill enjoys watching nearly all sports, staying active and having a good time.

Matthew Maynard Stadium Operations Assistant

Matthew Maynard

Matthew assists the Director of Stadium Operations in oversight of the department, assisting in general maintenance of the stadium, and oversees the baseball operations department, serving as liaison with management of the Miami Marlins.

Born in Crofton, Maryland, and moved to Raleigh, N.C., Matthew earned a B.S. in sport management with a minor in business administration from Gardner-Webb University, where he was a sports information intern and baseball student manager. He has worked in stadium operations for the Asheboro (N.C.) Copperheads, the Winston-Salem (N.C.) Dash (Class-A Advanced Carolina League) and the Frisco (Texas) Roughriders (Double-A Texas League).

One of two brothers, Matthew played baseball for four seasons at Leesville Road High School and was an active member of Soapstone United Methodist Church and the University Christian Life & Services at Gardner-Webb. Matthew is a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, the Washington Wizards and Carolina Hurricanes, as well as college teams from Maryland, Navy, North Carolina, Gardner-Webb, Appalachian State, West Virginia, and Marshall. Matthew enjoys working out and playing disc golf, video games and baseball.

Ernest Hopkins Director of Food & Beverage

Ernest Hopkins

Ernest oversees concessions and catering for game day operations at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. He also works on menu development to make for a memorable dining experience at the ballpark.

Born in Richmond, Va., and raised in Macon, Ga., Ernest earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood (Mich.) University and a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University in Jacksonville.

Retired from the U.S. Navy, he has been awarded two Navy / Marine Corp Commendation Medals, four Navy / Marine Corp Achievement Medals, five Good Conduct Medals and a Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.

Before joining the Jumbo Shrimp, he was a food and beverage manager for SAVOR Jacksonville, including three years for the Jacksonville Sharks Arena Football and NBA preseason games, as well as the 2015 NCAA Basketball Tournament.

Married with five children, Ernest is a Pop Warner Youth Football Coach and a Youth Volunteer as a Clay County Public School Mentor in Orange Park, Fla.

Chris Harper Food & Beverage Manager - Suites & Catering

Chris Harper

Chris manages staffing and scheduling of suites and catering areas, ensuring needs are met for suite holders groups prior to and during games, and overseeing any catering events to ensure customer satisfaction.

A native of Jacksonville, Chris will complete his associate degree at Florida State College Jacksonville at the end of the summer. He had done babysitting and events for Precision Meeting & Event Management before joining the Jumbo Shrimp in March 2016 as a suite level employee.

The youngest of two brothers and one sister, Chris is a huge sports fan, rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL and the Washington Nationals in MLB, although he still supports the Jumbo Shrimp and their major league affiliate.

Brennan Earley Merchandise Manager

 Brennan Earley

Brennan oversees the Jumbo Shrimp merchandise operation in The Perfect Game Team Store and the Jumbo Shrimp online store. He handles merchandise and souvenir orders, store inventory maintenance, store layout, game day store operations and online orders.

A native of Jonesville, Va., Brennan earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise, sport and health education from Radford (Va.) University, and he earned a Master of Science degree in sport leadership with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Kentucky.

Brennan began his baseball career as a Baseball Operations Intern with the Johnson City (Tenn.) Cardinals (Rookie Appalachian League). He also had internships with The Western & Southern Open (Cincinnati) and Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame before becoming the assistant manager of merchandising for the Jackson (Tenn.) Generals (Double-A Southern League) before joining the Jumbo Shrimp.

Brennan is an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and has been a lifelong Boston Red Sox and Oakland Raiders fan, although the Jaguars could gain his rooting interest. Joining the Jumbo Shrimp in December 2015, Brennan looks forward to becoming an active part of the Jacksonville community.

David Ratz Promotions & Special Events Manager

David Ratz

David makes sure visitors to the Baseball Grounds are always entertained, excited and leave with a smile on their face!

David joined the Jumbo Shrimp after 13 years in radio promotions and events, producing everything from concerts to golf tournaments - all to put smiles on faces. A native of Atlanta, David graduated from Elon University in 2001.

David and his wife Ann have two cats, and he is a big St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Ticket & Groups Sales

Corey Marnik Director of Ticket Operations

Corey Marnik

Corey oversees the group sales department and box office, ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction for guests at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

A native of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, and alumnus of Daytona State College, Corey previously worked in the secondary ticket market, providing tickets to all sporting theatre and concert events. He is also a certified firefighter in the state of Florida, with more cool stories than broken bones.

Corey is a big fan of anything outdoors and is a mentor with the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation in Jacksonville.

Peter Ercey Box Office Manager

Peter Ercey

Peter oversees box office operations and also does season ticket sales and group sales. He works to make guests' experience at games fun-filled and worry-free.

A Coconut Creek, Fla., native, Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management and minor in business administration from the University of North Florida. He completed an internship with the Jacksonville Sharks (Arena Football) and worked as Promotions Coordinator for the Inland Empire (San Bernardino, Calif.) 66ers (Class-A Advanced California League) in 2015.

Peter and his four cats live in Jacksonville, and his cross-country move has also brought him closer to his family in Coconut Creek.

Theresa Viets Military Liaison/ Account Executive

Theresa Viets

Theresa works to provide excellent customer service to prospective and current clients as she sells season tickets, mini plans, group outings, suite leases and nightly suite rentals. She also works with the local military community to help strengthen the team's relationship in Jacksonville.

A Jacksonville native, Theresa has worked with the organization since March 2007. She was also the team's box office manager for five seasons (2011-14, 2016). She was the Director of Community Relations during the 2015 season, and she was also the Executive Assistant and Receptionist from 2007 to 2011.

Before joining the organization, Theresa served briefly in the U.S. Army and worked in the Duval County Clerk of Courts office. She earned an Associate of Arts from Florida State College at Jacksonville and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Administration at DeVry University.

Theresa enjoys spending time with her parents and other family members in the area, and spoiling her two pugs, Cooper and Tug. She also enjoys motoring around town, and occasionally the country, in her FUSCHIA convertible Mini Cooper with the local chapter of Sunshine Minis, Jacksonville Area Mini Motorists.

A Jacksonville Beach native with an older brother and younger sister, James played two years of baseball at Tallahassee Community College and two at the University of North Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He worked in accounts receivable for a worker's comp provider and was on the Jacksonville Suns grounds crew before joining the Jumbo Shrimp front office.

James picked up running as a hobby, recently completing his first marathon and would like to work up to a triathlon. He roots for all Boston sports teams.

Alex Bell Account Executive

Alex Bell

Alex works to provide premier customer service to all prospective and current clients as he sells mini plans, season tickets and group outings, suite leases and nightly suite rentals. He works to make guests' experience worry-free and creates lasting relationships built on affordable family fun.

A native of Jacksonville, Alex was a four-year captain of the University Christian High School football team, winning the 2012 Florida 2A district and state championship. At the University of North Florida, he became the first in his family to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in sport management and minor in Community Leadership.

Alex worked previously at Publix Supermarkets, gameday operations for the Jacksonville Sharks Arena Football team, customer service at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, as well as coaching sports at a local school. He began with the Jumbo Shrimp as an intern in January 2017, working in merchandise, sales, and the box office, before joining the full-time staff in September 2017.

In his work to give back to the community, Alex has volunteered with the MDA in fundraising for children with muscular disease. He is a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Braves, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lightning and Arsenal FC.

John Bennett Costello Account Executive

John Bennett Costello

John Bennett (JB) works to provide excellent customer service to prospective and current clients as he sells season tickets, mini plans, group outings, suite leases and nightly suite rentals. He works to make guests' experience at games fun-filled and worry-free.

Born in Key West and raised in Pell City, Alabama, JB graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in public relations and minor in political science. He has worked previously as a sales intern with the Southern League's Birmingham (Alabama) Barons, and as a social media intern with Alabama Club Hockey and Alabama Baseball. He completed an internship with the Jumbo Shrimp before joining the full-time staff.

JB has two younger sisters, and he is a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, Alabama Crimson Tide athletics, Nashville Predators, New York Giants, and the Los Angeles Lakers (yes, he says Kobe is better than LeBron). When not at work, he is either at the beach, a concert, another sporting event, or meeting celebrities. He is a member of Southside Baptist Church and looking forward to being more involved in the Jacksonville community.

A native of Woodbridge, Virginia, Robert earned his degree in sport management from Flagler College in St. Augustine, where he played lacrosse. He came to the Jumbo Shrimp after working for the Potomac Nationals (including the 2014 Carolina League Championship), the Jacksonville Jaguars, UFC, the Washington Wizards and Miami Marlins.

The son of 34-year U.S. Army Veteran and Purple Heart recipient LTC Louis E. Dorfman III, Robert has one brother and one sister. He is an active member of the United Methodist Church. A fan of Star Wars, WWE and country music, and an autograph collector, Robert is a fan of Washington's sports teams, including the Redskins, Nationals, Capitals, Wizards and D.C. United.

Julian Staiano Account Executive

Julian Staiano

A native of Saugerties, New York, Julian had 97 wins in varsity wrestling for Saugerties High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management at SUNY Cortland, where he was on the Dean's List and volunteered at sporting events, helping with game day operations, fan experience, grounds crew and crowd security, before working as a stadium coordinator for SUNY Cortland.

Julian joined the Jumbo Shrimp after working in marketing and promotions for Binghamton University and as a national sales representative for Paychex Inc., where he was recognized three times for outstanding monthly performance.

One of five siblings, Julian is a fan of New York Yankees baseball, Green Bay Packers football, and Syracuse Orange basketball, and he enjoys traveling, working out, and anything outdoors or on the water. He is also enthusiastic about becoming more involved in the Jacksonville community.
