Paupeck enters his 17th year a part of the Mets organization and is set to begin his sixth season as the General Manager of the Kingsport Mets. As the General Manager, Paupeck oversees the day-to-day operations of the team while also holding a key role in the advertising and marketing campaigns for the organization. In five years in Kingsport, Paupeck's main objective has been to enhance the fan experience at the ballpark and has been able to do that with sponsorships, promotions and improved concessions. His work has been noticed as the K-Mets increased their attendance 25 percent since the 2013 season due to the good efforts. The General Manager has also made it a point to be more involved with the community and the City of Kingsport with multiple player and personal appearances around the community each season.

Hunter Wright Stadium has also seen significant changes during the time of Paupeck's leadership. With the help of the city and the Kingsport Convention & Visitors Bureau, the 28-year-old stadium has witnessed the expansion of the player's clubhouse, seat renovations and countless other projects that enhance the ballpark experience. With one of the better venues in all of the Appalachian League, Paupeck works with various colleges, high schools and baseball affiliations from around the region in hosting tournaments at the friendly confines.

Originally from Long Island, N.Y., Paupeck spent a portion of his childhood in Marietta, Ga. before attending and graduating from Georgia Southern in 2002. Starting as an intern for the Mets in Port St. Lucie right after graduation, Paupeck was hired on full-time in 2003 and has since held positions as Administrative Assistant to the Manager, Director of the Food & Beverage Department and of course, the Kingsport Mets General Manager.
