SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, Class AA minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announce today P Jeremy Papelbon has been placed on the disabled list. In a related roster move, P Jake Muyco has been promoted from High-A Daytona. Papelbon appeared in 13 games for Tennessee this year, compiling a 0-3 record with a 5.14 ERA. His move to the disabled list is due to a left shoulder strain, and is retroactive to Friday, May 15.
