APPLEBEE'S PARK (Lexington, KY.) - The Lexington Legends announced that starting pitcher David Qualben has been selected to the Northern Division All-Star team. The left-hander is 6-4 with a 3.41 ERA in 15games/9 starts. The All-star game will feature the Northern Division stars squaring off against the Southern Division stars on Tuesday, June 19 at State Mutual Field in Rome, Georgia. "We are very excited for Dave," Legends General Manager Kevin Kulp said. "He's an exciting prospect who has been the anchor for our team in the first half." Qualben hails from Brooklyn, New York and attended Pace University. The lefty was selected by in the Houston Astros in the seventh round of the 2006 June Amateur Draft.
