On November 19th, BB&T Ballpark will host "Beer Quest", a unique approach to the beer festival format. All beers served will be hand selected and curated to fall into a specific beer path for you to chose from!
With a total of 8,974 fans per game over 70 home dates in 2016, the Charlotte Knights led all of Minor League Baseball in average attendance per game for the third consecutive season. The Knights opened BB&T Ballpark on April 11, 2014 to rave reviews.
RHP Brad Goldberg, who shined for the Knights in 43 games out of the team's bullpen during the 2016 season, helped Team Israel win the 2016 World Baseball Classic Qualifier series. Team Israel will move on to the WBC in Seoul, Korea in March.
The Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce the hiring of Rob Egan as the team's new general manager of baseball operations. Egan joins the Knights after guiding the Altoona Curve (Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates) as their general manager over the past eight seasons.
