Lou is responsible for all administrative services for the legal department and assists in the review of control interest transfers, regulated transactions and relocations.

He also works on umpire matters, including litigation support and operational compliance with the collective bargaining agreement with the Association of Minor League Umpires (AMLU). Lou assists with league and club territorial and exploration matters and with the collection and review of club stadium leases and naming rights agreements.

A St. Petersburg native, Lou is a member of the Florida Bar and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Howard University, a Masters in Business Administration from Stetson University and a law degree from Stetson University College of Law.

Lou joined the Minor League Baseball staff as an intern in 2009 and was promoted to a full-time position as Manager, Baseball Operations and Legal Affairs later that year.
