Rod is responsible for the Sales and Marketing functions of Minor League Baseball including sponsorship proposals, negotiations, budgeting and implementation of national marketing and advertising sponsorships. He works with member clubs regarding financial considerations and issues related to national promotions.
Rod oversees all Marketing Department functions relating to sponsorship and marketing of various Minor League Baseball events, including the Promotional Seminar and Baseball Winter Meetings. Rod has spent more than 20 years in advertising and sports marketing, joining Minor League Baseball in May, 1997.
Born in Seattle, he grew up in North Dakota and has a degree in Speech Communications from the University of North Dakota.
