What are the current salaries for professional umpires?


The regular-season salary ranges for each classification are as follows:

Triple-A: $2,600-3,500 per month
Double-A: $2,300-2,700 per month
Class A Full Season: $2,000-2,400 per month
Class A Short-Season & Rookie: $1,900-2,100 per month

Salaries may vary from the above ranges due to service time or other special circumstances. Umpires receive a promotion premium in the form of increased pay when promoted to Class AA, and another promotion premium when promoted to Class AAA.
