Drafted: 2003, 1st (31)
Scouting report: When healthy, Miller can get his fastball up to 98 mph. He's got a plus slider that he throws 88-89 mph. When 100 percent, his arm works free and easy and the ball comes out of his hand cleanly. The only thing that's held him back is the disabled list.
Upside potential: If he can get some distance between him and the injury bug, he still has the stuff to be a front-end starter. That being said, he could have a long career as a top-notch setup man or closer with his fastball-slider combination.
They said it: "Adam is fully healthy and was throwing the ball very well in the Dominican Winter League. This is the best he has looked in awhile. It's all about health with Adam. We are going to have to watch his workload in '09 and the best way to do that is in a bullpen role." -- Indians assistant GM of scouting John Mirabelli
