There's little question that Homer Bailey is the top pitching prospect in the Reds organization, but Cueto isn't too far behind. He may seem undersized, but don't let that fool you. He can crank the fastball up into the mid 90s and his secondary pitches -- a slider and changeup -- are excellent as well. Most importantly, he's shown the ability to command all three pitches at any point in the count.
He finished sixth in the Minors with 170 strikeouts in 2007 and walked just 34 while pitching at three levels. His highest stop was in Triple-A, meaning that he's close to joining Bailey as an exciting duo in Cincinnati's rotation.
