American Conference Championship: Winner is American Conference Champion, Best-of-5 series
Teams: American North Division Champion vs. American South Division Champion
Locations:
In odd-numbered years:
- Games 1-2: Home of the American South Division Champion
- Games 3-5: Home of the American North Division Champion
In even-numbered years:
- Games 1-2: Home of the American North Division Champion
- Games 3-5: Home of the American South Division Champion
Pacific Conference Championship: Winner is Pacific Conference Champion, Best-of-5 series
Teams: Pacific North Division Champion vs. Pacific South Division Champion
Locations:
In odd-numbered years:
- Games 1-2: Home of the Pacific North Division Champion
- Games 3-5: Home of the Pacific South Division Champion
In even-numbered years:
- Games 1-2: Home of the Pacific South Division Champion
- Games 3-5: Home of the Pacific North Division Champion
Round 2 ? League Championship Series: Winner is Pacific Coast League Champion and competes for Triple-A Championship, Best-of-5 series
Teams: American Conference Champion vs. Pacific Conference Champion
Locations:
In odd-numbered years:
- Games 1-2: Home of the American Conference Champion
- Games 3-5: Home of the Pacific Conference Champion
In even-numbered years:
- Games 1-2: Home of the Pacific Conference Champion
- Games 3-5: Home of the American Conference Champion
Qualifying
Qualification for playoffs: The club with the best overall record in each of the four divisions shall be declared Divisional Champion.
A tie between two or more clubs for any position in the final standing at the end of a Championship Season, which does not involve first place in the league, shall remain in the records as a tie.
In the event of a tie for first in any Division, the Division Champion will be determined by:
1. the record between the two clubs; if still tied,
2. the record against clubs in the same Division; if still tied,
3. the record against clubs in the same Conference; if still tied, then
4. a one-game playoff between the two clubs with the home team determined by the president of the League by flip of a coin.
In the event of a three-way or four-way tie for first in any Division, the Divisional Champion shall be determined by:
1. the record between the tied clubs; if still tied,
2. the record against clubs in the same Division; if still tied,
3. the record against clubs in the same Conference; if still tied, then
4. the differential of runs scored versus runs allowed throughout the season.
