Braves Release 2016 Opening Day Roster
DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves have released their Opening Day roster for the 2016 season. The 35-man roster includes 20 pitchers, three catchers, seven infielders, and five outfielders.
15 players are members of the 2016 draft class, highlighted by 5th-round selection Jeremy Walker (RHP, Gardner Webb), 6th-round pick Matt Gonzalez (INF, Georgia Tech) and 7th-round pick J.B. Moss (OF, Texas A&M).
The D-Braves open their 2016 season Thursday night at Pulaski.
