The Quad Cities will be looking to hit one over the fence when the Swing hosts the 2006 Midwest League All-Star Classic on June 19-20.

Tickets are now on sale for the 42nd annual All-Star Game, which will be played at John O'Donnell Stadium for the first time since 1990. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

"This is a great opportunity for our organization to host the Midwest League's marquee event," Swing president and general manager Kevin Krause said. "We are very excited to have the event in the Quad Cities and to be able to show off our tremendous facility to fans across the Midwest."

A Home Run Derby will precede the All-Star Game on June 19.

Box Seats for the Classic will be $12 per seat, and General Admission tickets will be $10. For tickets, call the Swing box office at (563) 328-2000, visit the Quad Cities website at, or stop by the John O'Donnell Stadium office.

Last year's event took place in Peoria, Ill., with the East defeating the West, 4-2. Ten representatives from the eventual league champion South Bend Silver Hawks dotted the winning lineup.
