Bats Drop Second Straight to Tides

Sarasota, FL - The Norfolk Tides defeated the Louisville Bats 6-4 in a Spring Training game Wednesday.

Cincinnati Reds relievers David Weathers and Rheal Cormier pitched the first three innings of the game, allowing four hits and no runs. Steve Kelly worked three innings and allowed six runs on eight hits.

Infielder Enrique Cruz led the Bats with two hits and a run scored. Jeff Bannon and Caonabo Cosme each went 1-for-3 with a RBI and run scored in the defeat.

Louisville will play an intrasquad game Thursday at the Reds Minor League Complex in Sarasota.
