The new box seats are the same style used at Safeco Field in Seattle and Coors Field, home of the Dust Devils' parent club, the Colorado Rockies. "With the anticipated high number of sellouts in the lower box this season, the new box seats in the upper section will give our fans another great seating option," said Dust Devils Vice President/General Manager Monica Ortega. "The addition of Major League seats will make Gesa Stadium an even better place to watch baseball this summer." In addition, a portion of the bleacher backs from the seats currently located in the uppers will be reinstalled in the general admission sections, making 400 general admission seats more comfortable by giving them backs. The Dust Devils begin the 2008 season at Vancouver June 17th before returning to Gesa Stadium for the home opener against Salem-Keizer on June 22nd. Ticket packages are on sale now and can be ordered at the stadium box office, by phone at (509) 544-8789, or online at www.dustdevilsbaseball.com. |
