Designated hitter J.T. Hall (Port Gibson, Miss.) currently ranks tenth in the FSL with a .311 batting average, and also boasts 22 RBI and four home runs for the season. Third-baseman Cesar Suarez (Maracaibo, Venezuela) has notched a .292 batting average so far in 2008, with 24 RBI and three home runs, while Garrett Groce (Columbus, Ga.) earned a spot on the All-Star team batting .280 with 17 RBI and one home run.
Hellickson, Rollins and Groce will each be making their second appearances in a mid-season All-Star game, while Hall, Suarez, Morse and Reid are all first-time honorees. Rollins previously earned a spot on the 2007 South Atlantic League Mid-Season All-Star team, while Hellickson's previous honor was earned in 2006 when he appeared at the New York-Penn League All-Star game. Groce was a previous All-Star at the 2005 New York-Penn League Mid-Season All-Star game.
