Columbus, GA - The Catfish, who are first in the Southern Division, are beginning to reap the benefits of success as starting pitcher Jeremy Hall was recognized by the South Atlantic League as the Pitcher of the Week for the week beginning June 23rd.

Hall, who spent a month on the disabled list earlier this season, has hit his stride. He made one start last week and was phenomenal, firing 8 shutout innings against Charleston. Hall scattered 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 8 RiverDogs. The win improved Hall to 2-1 on the season.

The Catfish have embarked on a 6-game roadtrip before returning home on July 7th to host the Kannapolis Intimidators. The Catfish are currently on a 7-game winning streak.

The Catfish are the Class-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
