Game 2 of the New York-Penn League Championship Series between the Batavia Muckdogs and Jamestown Jammes was postponed due to rain Saturday at Dwyer Stadium. The Muckdogs will have a chance to capture the first title in the 51-year history of the franchise when the best-of-3 series resumes Sunday at 6:05 p.m. ET. Game 3, if necessary, also will be in Batavia on Monday at 7:05 p.m. Jermaine Curtis hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning Friday night as Batavia pulled out a 4-3 victory in the series opener at Russell Diethrick Park. Jamestown, which has never won a title since joining the league in 1994, had a seven-game winning streak snapped with Friday's loss.
