Frisco Releases 2009 Schedule

Season tickets for the 2009 season are now available online

The Frisco RoughRiders have released the regular season schedule for the 2009 campaign, the seventh for the RoughRiders. Besides hosting 70 Texas League games throughout the regular season, Frisco will also host the 73rd annual Texas League All-Star Game on July 1, the second time the mid-summer classic will be played at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

  The RoughRiders will open the season on the road April 9 at Springfield for three games and Arkansas for three games before returning to Frisco for the home opener at Dr Pepper Ballpark. The RoughRiders home opening game will be on Thursday, April 16 against the Springfield Cardinals. The reigning South Division Champion RoughRiders will begin to defend their title on April 23 when Frisco travels to South Division opponent Corpus Christi.

  Once again in 2009, every Friday game at Dr Pepper Ballpark will be a "Fireworks Night" immediately following the game. Almost every home game will have first pitch at 7 p.m. except for four 11 a.m. games next season (April 21, May 6, May 19, June 24), three Sunday afternoon games, and Memorial Day, which is a 4 p.m. start time.
