Trevor Bell tossed a two-hit, complete-game shutout in his Triple-A debut, as the Salt Lake Bees edged the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Bell (1-0), who was called up from Double-A Arkansas to fill in for Sean O'Sullivan, struck out four and did not issue a walk, as he faced the minimum twenty-seven batters. Three Colorado Springs hitters reached base, but two were erased on double plays and the other was thrown out attempting to steal.

The Bees plated the only run of the ballgame in the seventh, as Matt Brown led off with a walk and was sacrificed to second by Bobby Wilson. A wild pitch advanced Brown to third and he came home to score, as Adam Pavkovich dropped down a suicide squeeze bunt.

Wilson had two hits to lead Salt Lake, as the Bees move one and one-half games ahead of the Sky Sox in the Pacific Northern Division.
