MLB suspends three for stanozolol use
Mets pair, former Rays pitcher banned 50 games

NEW YORK -- The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that three Minor League players have received 50-game suspensions after each tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program:

Free agent pitcher Noel De Leon, formerly of the Tampa Bay Rays organization (Dominican Summer League), has been suspended after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. His suspension would be effective immediately upon signing with another Major League organization.

Pitcher Pedro De Los Santos of the New York Mets organization (Dominican Summer League) has been suspended after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol.

Pitcher Luis Hernandez of the Mets organization (Dominican Summer League) has been suspended after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol.

The suspensions of De Los Santos and Hernandez are effective immediately.
