Fans will now have the opportunity to vote for their favorite name online at TimesDispatch.com. Voting will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and continue through Sunday, Oct. 11. "Selecting the name of a new franchise is such a unique and exciting process," said Richmond Professional Baseball Vice President & COO Todd "Parney" Parnell. "The response from the community was overwhelming and extremely gratifying. We couldn't be happier that the fans have been able to play an integral role in the process, and can't wait for the new identity of the team to become ingrained in the area."

The fan who submitted the winning entry will be introduced at the name introduction press conference and will be awarded season tickets for life beginning with the 2010 season.
