FRESNO, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies will reveal their highly anticipated 2010 Promotional Calendar over the course of the next four days, the club announced on Monday. Each of the 72 home games at Chukchansi Park will be packed with promotions, giving fans more value for the price of a ticket than ever before. Also, this year the organization is offering an unprecedented level of fan involvement to contribute to the Grizzlies experience.
Over the last several years, the Fresno Grizzlies have been consistently recognized as one of the most creative organizations not only in Minor League Baseball, but in all of professional sports. They are the only team to be nominated by Minor League Baseball in each of the last three seasons for the Promotion of the Year Award, winning in 2008. In 2009, the Grizzlies were honored for the second straight year by GameOps.com with the "Best Team Operations Award", given to the top sports team in game operations, considering all in-game entertainment, promotional development and overall value provided to fans.
The release schedule for the 2010 Promotional Calendar is as follows:
Tuesday, March 9: 2010 Fireworks Schedule
Wednesday, March 10: Premium Giveaway Schedule
Thursday, March 11: Theme Nights and Theme Jerseys
Friday, March 12: Celebrity Appearance Schedule
The Grizzlies will announce their value-oriented, weekday promotions next week.
