Andrew Miller continued to battle control problems on Thursday, issuing seven walks in four innings as the Memphis Redbirds beat the New Orleans Zephyrs 7-5 in Jupiter, Fla.

Miller allowed three runs on five hits and hit a batter. He struck out three while dropping his second game to Memphis in five days.

Tim Wood, optioned to New Orleans a day earlier, gave up four runs (two earned) in the sixth inning as the Redbirds built a 7-2 lead.

Jay Buente struck out two while surrendering one hit in two innings.

The offense was led by Logan Morrison and Ryan Klosterman, who each delivered two-run triples. Morrison's three-bagger in the first inning gave the Zephyrs a 2-0 lead. The Slidell native also walked twice.

Klosterman's triple was part of a three-run ninth inning that drew the Zephyrs within 7-5. Jason Delaney followed with an RBI double to score Klosterman, but the Zephyrs would get no closer.

Danny Richar doubled twice for the Zephyrs, who struck out nine times on the day.

The Zephyrs face the Buffalo Bisons on Friday, with Rick VandenHurk, getting the start.
