Khris Davis - OF and Scooter Gennett - 2B
Davis and Gennett led the Rattlers in virtually every offensive category during the month of May, so they share Player of the Month honors. Davis, the Brewers 7th round pick in the 2009 draft, led the team in triples (2 - tied), home runs (4), RBI (19), walks (17), on base percentage (.417), slugging (.514), and OPS (.931). Gennett, a 16th round selection by the Brewers in 2009, topped the team in batting average (.356), hits (42), and doubles (8 - tied). In addition, Davis finished second in batting average and hits, while Gennett was runner up in runs, RBI, OBP, slugging, and OPS.
Nick Bucci - P
After a rough start to the month (4.1 IP, 2 ER, L), Bucci was lights out the rest of the month, allowing 2 earned runs in 27.2 innings and winning three games. In consecutive starts on the 13th and 18th, the Ontario, Canada native threw six scoreless innings. An 18th round pick by the Brewers in 2008, Bucci struck out 23 batters in 32 innings and did not allow a home run.
