Robert Coello threw a masterpiece for the PawSox on Tuesday night in Scranton, leading the club to a 3-1 win. Coello worked 5.2 innings in his first Triple A start. The 6'5 righty struck out ten Yankees, scattering 4 hits and allowing one run. The run scored on a solo homer by Jorge Vazquez. Coello has allowed just one run in 12.1 innings in his first three Pawtucket outings.

Pawtucket scored single runs in the second, third and fourth innings. Dusty Brown pushed across the first run with an RBI double. Brown would leave the game in the third after a collision with P.J. Pilletere. The Yankees baserunner was thrown out at the plate by leftfielder Aaron Bates. In the third Lars Anderson plated Angel Sanchez with a sacrifice fly. In the fourth, Bubba Bell hit his fourth homer of the season, a solo shot.

After Coellos' sensational outing, Tommy Hottovy made his triple A debut, working a scoreless inning. Chad Paronto kept it a 2 run lead working 1.1 innings and Fernando Cabrera mopped up, earning the save (9) with a 1-2-3 ninth inning.
