Center fielder Nate McLouth homered, singled and drove in six runs on Monday night as Gwinnett outlasted visiting Norfolk, 11-9. The former National League All-Star's six RBIs were the most by a G-Brave this season.

McLouth lifted his average to .234 with five homers and 14 RBIs over 25 Triple-A games. He batted .168 in 62 games for Atlanta earlier this season.

The 28-year-old outfielder delivered a two-RBI single in the second inning, a three-run homer in the fourth and drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh.

The G-Braves scored in each of the first five frames, but found themselves trailing the Tides in the seventh, 8-7. They took advantage of three hits, four walks and a wild pitch in the inning to take an 11-8 lead.

Major League veteran Scott Proctor (4-3) picked up the win after pitching a perfect seventh. Craig Kimbrell tossed a scoreless ninth for his 20th save in 21 opportunities. He has not allowed a run and yielded just two hits over his last 10 appearances.

Norfolk reliever Pat Egan (1-1) took the loss. He gave up two runs on four hits in 2 1/3 innings.

The G-Braves improved to 10-6 in August and have won four of their last five games.
