A pair of young local baseball fans will be heading to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX this Saturday for Games 3, 4 and possibly 5 of the 2010 World Series as the Pawtucket Red Sox are once again providing two lucky winners from the Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket, and their dads, with an all-expense paid trip to the World Series.
This year's trip to Texas will mark the 21st consecutive year that the PawSox have taken a pair of youngsters (along with two adult chaperones) to baseball's showcase event.
The Boys and Girls Club winners, chosen from eligible club members prior to a PawSox game at McCoy this past August, are Bellamy Gutierrez of Central Falls (front left) and Zackery Newman of Pawtucket (front right). The youngsters will both be accompanied by their fathers Ed Gutierrez and Michael Newman. Also in the photo are PawSox GM Lou Schwechheimer (far left) and PawSox president Mike Tamburro (far right).
The four have great seats for Games 3-5 of the 2010 World Series between the Rangers and Giants and as an added bonus have also secured tickets to the Dallas Cowboys game vs. Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon at New Cowboys Stadium.
