In a neck-and-neck contest through the final minutes of voting, 6:35 PM has been chosen as the winning game time in the first element of Facebook Fans Night on May 18. A seriously tight vote by our Facebook Fans yielded the 6:35 PM start time, edging out the runner-up time of 7:05 PM.
The Hot Rods and West Michigan Whitecaps will now play game two of their May series at 6:35 PM on Wednesday, May 18. Gates will open at 5 PM for Season Ticket holders; 5:30 PM for the general public. The three-game series begins on Tuesday with an 11:05 AM start time followed by a series-ending first pitch at 7:05 PM on Thursday.
Next up, Facebook Fans will determine the jersey and cap combination to be worn by the Hot Rods during the game. There are five choices to choose from so 'Like' us on Facebook and cast your vote today. Voting runs through 10 PM on Sunday and we'll announce the results next Monday morning.
Don't forget to tell your Facebook friends about us. The more likes we get, the cheaper tickets will be on May 18 for you! For every 200 new fans (over 7,000; up to 10,000) we're dropping ticket prices for Facebook fans by fifty cents. Right now, ticket prices are at $8.00 but dropping quickly!
