Clinton, IA - Famous rapper, television personality and founder of Flav's Fried Chicken in Clinton, Flavor Flav will appear at Alliant Energy Field on Friday, April 8 as the Clinton LumberKings take on Burlington. Flav will be on hand to greet fans and will throw out the first pitch prior to the 6:30 PM start time.

Flav, one of the founding members of the rap group Public Enemy, transitioned into a reality television career when he starred in The Surreal Life, Strange Love and Flavor of Love on VH1. He made national news last February when he opened up his first fried chicken restaurant, Flav's Fried Chicken (or FFC) at 916 N. Second Street in Clinton.
