Legends of Baseball Vintage Showdown
Coming to Dr Pepper Ballpark April 30

FRISCO, TX - The Frisco RoughRiders today announced that they have teamed up with the GET IN THE BOX Foundation to host the Legends of Baseball Vintage Showdown at Dr Pepper Ballpark on April 30th at 1:30 p.m.

Former big leaguers will play a vintage baseball game with equipment and rules similar to what was used more than a century ago.

Notable participants include pitchers Rollie Fingers and Lee Smith, outfielders Dante Bichette and Bernie Williams, catcher Jim Sundberg and first baseman Jack Clark.

Gates open at noon for batting practice and pre-game ceremonies in advance of first pitch at 1:30.

General admission tickets are $15 with children under 2 years of age free. Tickets are available on ridersbaseball.com or getinthebox.org. All proceeds will go to help youth charities in the area.

About the RoughRiders
The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas.
