Davis struck out six and walked two while scattering six hits in six innings. He was staked to a lead in the fourth inning when Chris Rahl singled in Johnson with the first run of the game.
The Senators offense scored three times on three hits in the fourth with the inning being highlighted by a double-steal and an rbi double off the bat of Jesus Valdez. Valdez had two hits in the game.
Former Senator Aaron Thompson started for Altoona and took the loss, going five innings and allowing four runs on six hits. Harrisburg is now 9-8 while Altoona drops to 8-9.
Game three of the four-game series is Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. RH Ryan Tatusko takes the hill for the Senators against RH Jared Hughes for the Altoona Curve.
