Make that 10 straight for the Delmarva Shorebirds and five out of seven for Orioles prospect Manny Machado.

Machado homered again Sunday afternoon to power the Class A Shorebirds to their 10th consecutive victory, a 2-0 blanking of the Charleston RiverDogs.

The 18-year-old shortstop, MLB.com's No. 24 prospect, also went deep in three straight games earlier this week. He's hitting .424 with 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored during the winning streak, Delmarva's longest in at least eight years.

Touted for his tools, Machado also flashed his speed over the weekend, stealing a base on Saturday and another Sunday.

After taking a called third strike in the first inning, the Florida native bashed a two-run homer in the third. He popped out in the fifth and walked and stole his third base in the eighth.

Jonathan Schoop was 2-for-4, giving him multiple hits in three of his last five games.

Jacob Pettit (3-0), a 2010 42nd-round pick scattered five hits over a career-high eight innings to remain unbeaten. He struck out eight, walked one and lowered his ERA to 2.59, which ranks eighth in the South Atlantic League.

Gary Sanchez, MLB.com's No. 32 prospect, doubled in four trips to the plate for Charleston and has hit safely in five of his last six games.
