On Thursday night, the Keys became the first team this season to score four runs against LHP Noel Arguelles as they went onto defeat the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 5-2. 1B Tyler Townsend drove in three runs including a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Later in the inning, Tyler Townsend singled home Stevens to give Frederick 1-0 lead after one.

Arguelles exited the game after six innings. He allowed four runs on five hits and picked up his first loss as a member of the Kansas City Royals organization.

Wilmington scored two runs in the eighth inning but Keys closer, RHP Sean Gleason, struck out the side in the ninth as the Frederick won, 5-2.

Gleason notched his fifth save of the year following his perfect ninth inning.
