Chiefs to host Zumba/Fitness Day

Fans are invited to participate in free classes on Sunday

Syracuse, NY-The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that the team will host a Zumba/Fitness Day presented by Trillium Fitness and 93Q on Sunday, May 15 when the Chiefs host the Durham Bulls at 2:00pm.

Fans are invited to participate in a "Body Attack" class to be taught by Trillium Fitness instructor Barb St. Pierre starting at 12:00pm. In addition, Edelika Becker, a certified Zumba instructor, will offer an introductory Zumba class beginning at 12:40pm. Both classes will take place in the parking lot adjacent to the third base side of the ballpark.

Admission to the classes is free with a game ticket. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. Fans may pre-register by sending an email to [email protected] or through the Chiefs' facebook events.

During the game, Trillium Fitness, Zumba with Edelika, and Riverside Fitness will have display tables set up on the main concourse with information about the fitness classes offered by each. There will also be fitness demonstrations on the dugouts between innings.

Single-game tickets for all remaining Syracuse Chiefs home games can be purchased in person at the Chiefs ticket office, by calling 315-474-7833, or online at SyracuseChiefs.com.
